Audrey M. Kman, age 93, of Fairfield, devoted wife to the late Zigmund Kman, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2016. Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her son, Stephen Kman and his wife, Linda, of Bridgeport; her granddaughter, Staci Brady and her husband, Matthew, of Fairfield; her siblings, Anthony Stanitz, Richard Morano, Gregory Morano, and Robert Morano; several nieces and nephews including Gloria Kman, Joan Newnam, and Joelle Newnam. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis Cunningham and Shirley Mancia. Born in Scranton and raised in the neighboring Dickson City, PA, Audrey was the daughter of the late Anthony and Stella Lee Stanitz. She moved to Connecticut with her husband, settling in Fairfield 62 years ago. A retired retailsalesperson, she worked for General Electric prior to Howland's Department Store and Finishing Touch. A talented chef, she enjoyed cooking and baking specialty dishes for her family and friends. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place on Friday 915 AM in the funeral home and 10 AM in Holy Family Church, Fairfield, with interment to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
