Robert A. Convertito, age 71, of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Miriam Ambrosini Rega Convertito, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Born and raised in Bridgeport, son of the late Paul and Frances Gulino Convertito, Robert had lived in Milford before moving to Shelton six years ago. He was a graduate of Notre Dame Catholic High School and Sacred Heart University. He had worked as a sales manager at various auto dealerships and most recently at Park City Ford. Bob later went on to be the owner and gaming instructor for the " Golden Touch " craps table instructors. Bob was an avid New York Yankees fan, he enjoyed travel and especially wintering in Florida. He is survived by his sister Dolly Larkin, a brother Paul Convertito and his wife Marie, nieces and nephews Dale and Ritchie Brabner, Paul and Janice Larkin, Susan Lemos, Ralph Larkin, Michael Larkin, Chris Larkin, Lauren Frasca, Mark Convertito, Paul Convertito, Lisa and Chuck Sienkewicz, John and Cynthia Convertito, Carolyn and John Festa and Peter Convertito. Bob leaves behind Frank J. Rega III and his wife Phyllis, their children Brooke Bouchard and her husband Daryl, their children Joseph and Hailey Bouchard, Marissa Esteves and her husband Daniel, their children Emma and Jack Esteves , Gary Rega and his wife Chris and Brian Rega and his daughter Corey Rega as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
